Cirencester Ramblers
If you are looking to join a welcoming and friendly walking group – look no further! Cirencester Group is part of the Gloucestershire Area Ramblers and covers the south-east of the county between Northleach, Tetbury, Stroud and Lechlade, although some of our walks take us outside of this area.
Since our foundation in 1974, our aim has been to encourage people to join our group in order to explore this attractive area of the Cotswolds and Thames Valley, in addition to meeting new friends.
We arrange a walk most Sundays, between 4 and 10 miles in length, in our locality and in neighbouring countryside. There are occasional away weekends and other social events such as quiz nights and the annual Strawberry Tea. Also we exchange visits with a German rambling group.
Cirencester Group looks forward to extending a warm welcome to you on our walks - so why not come along and find out more.
Ramblers’ membership entitles you to discount at certain retail outlets including Cotswold Outdoor, Millets, Mountain Warehouse and Blacks.
If you would like further information, please contact us by clicking on the "Contact Us" link in the index – we look forward to hearing from you and to welcoming you to our Group.
