The Cotswold Lion Newspaper contains walks led by the Cotswold Voluntary Wardens
On their guided walks the Wardens use their local knowledge to explain more about the landscape, history, wildlife and local communities of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The walks are free of charge, but people are asked to make a contribution to the Countryside Fund at the end of each outing. The fund is spent to enhance the Cotswolds and pays for the restoration of historic features such as milestones and sheepwashes, the planting of hedges and trees and the installation of gates for easier access to the countryside.
Details of walks can be found in the Cotswold Lion newspaper available as a download or from Tourist Information centres in Gloucestershire.
